SEO Mistakes That Will Set Back Your Business
When you make mistakes during search engine optimization, sometimes it hurts more than your ranking and can get your site banned. Below are SEO mistakes that you should be careful of.
One aspect of SEO that many new marketers don't focus on is their on page optimization. SEO includes a variety of strategies, and many of these have to do with the arrangement and content of your website. For example, if you want to get ranked for certain keywords, then these must appear prominently in your site's content. You must pay attention to your title and heading tags, as well as the keyword density of your content. For your site to be well optimized, you can't ignore these critical on site factors. In short, search engine optimization involves many on page as well as off page factors, and both are crucial. A well designed site with great content and keywords still won't get well ranked if it doesn't have quality backlinks pointing at it. For search engine optimization to work, you can't leave any piece of the puzzle out. To optimize your site, you also have to be flexible and able to move in new directions at times. To succeed at SEO long term, you have to be alert to the latest developments in how the search engines operate, and testing new methods in response. Stay ahead of the others by trying out new techniques, whether it's on page or off page.
Another common mistake that should be avoided at all costs by SEO marketers is not focusing on the title and the description of your page. When someone finds your website in the search engine listings, what he or she will see is the title and description of the page. This, then, is all the information that can be seen about your site, until someone decides to visit. That's why it's essential to tell people as much as you can in the title and description, and use your main keywords. You shouldn't downplay this, since you have to make these fields compelling if you want website visitors. You should also realize that the search engines have recently gotten more sophisticated in the way they rank sites. Whereas meta tags used to be crucial, now it is mainly the title of your page and your content that matters most.
Another factor that the search engines look at now is the speed of your site, so this is something to be aware of. In addition, when your site is slow, many of your visitors will lose patience and click away. If you are using more code than is necessary, your site may not be running efficiently and this can harm your rank as well as annoy your visitors. This is why it's a good idea to avoid having an internal CSS file and instead go for an external CSS file. This helps your page load quickly since it becomes light and swift. Search engines are all about speed and relevancy, so you'll have to agree with them and understand the importance of your site's speed. It's essential that your site is both search engine optimized and useful to visitors, which amounts to pretty much the same thing.
These are some of the more common and serious SEO mistakes that people often make. If you want to be a successful SEO expert, then avoid them and keep an eye out for more.

I have a RC helicopter, I would like to install a, Flashing 4 LEDs Navigation Light Set?
My helli is pretty big, I am using four 10mm leds, two white, one front, one back, one red left, one green right, I have a on board battery 5V, but I can put on a small axillary battery 12V, if I have to, I would like them to flash all that the same time, But this is no ordinary on–off–on–off flasher. I would like a "heart-beat" effect, blip-blip, pause, blip-blip, pause. for a double-blink roughly every second.
the spec for the leds are
Red X1 : Forward Voltage : 1.9v - 2.1v
Forward Current : 20mA
White X2 Forward Voltage : 3.2v - 3.6v
Forward Current : 20mA
Green X1 Forward Voltage : 3.2v - 3.6v
Forward Current : 20mA
does any one have plans to make this work? or a place where I can buy a board already made?
Thanks
John
Don't have time to muck with this at the moment, but I think you just need a slow oscillator and a counter. By hooking the output to a second or third digit in a binary counter, I think you can get close to the pattern you are looking for.
Check with the nerds at your local Radio Shack - they live for this stuff....
