How do I replace a window regulator on a lumina?
I was trying to replace the window motor on my friends chevy lumina and when i was fussing with the regulator assembly a large half gear fell out from behind it and i dont know how to put it back in. Does anybody know how to put it back?
This half gear....was it on the new regulator, or the old one? If on the old one, it's not a big deal since you're tossing it anyway. If on the new one, those regulators are spring loaded, so you'll have to put it back together. I am foggy on how they were assembled. Maybe try referencing the old regulator to check the position, and go from there. Or return the new regulator as defective and have them give you another one.
