Sports Tours Are Definitely Worth Considering For Your Next Holiday
Maybe you feel a little stuck trying to decide what you want you want to do on your next vacation. Do not worry, there are options you have not thought about. One consideration is sports tours.
You may have not heard about sports tours. They are simple enough to understand, you have all sat in front of your television to watch an event, such as a major golf or tennis tournament. You saw a lot of happy and excited people there watching the game, right? Many of the people you saw enjoying that special event were part of a sports tour.
If you do not know how they work, they operate about the same as any other holiday package. You decide which event to go to, and the tour operator does most of the rest of the hard work. Sports tours operate just like other organized tours where you might travel to Asia, Europe or even the USA.
An example will be helpful for you to understand. If you are a golf fan, you might want to go see the US Open. Companies that offer sports tours will have a package for you. How tighten the wheel hub bearing in the front wheel?
My car is a 1996 SL Saturn.My right front wheel is making a noise and rattling,the disc rotor has a scrape line and i tried to lift the car to take the wheel out i notice that the right wheel is shaking a little so i figured that its a lose hub bearing,I tried to tighten it up manually and it din`t even budge.What equipment should i use?
Well, I agree with your other respondant, that it probably is a bad bearing. However, be that as it may, you still face the problem of loosening the hub to get at the bearings and thereupon of retightening it.
Had you said you could loosen the hub nut with a regular wrench or rachet I would probably not be responding, as my fear of you would dictate keeping a wide berth.
While the amount of torque necessary to tighten (or loosen) hub nuts varies with each model and manufacturer, it is generally somewhere between 300 and 350 foot pounds, and a man who can accomplish that with a 10-12 inch handled wrench or rachet should be pursuing his hobby of elephant tossing, not wasting his time under old cars.
If you want to do it yourself, you get a half-inch drive breaker bar, the appropriate sized half-inch drive socket, and a piece of pipe approximately 6 feet in length and of sufficient diameter that the end of the breaker bar handle will fit inside the pipe. (I use a standard hollow bar from an old weight-lifting set.) This will give you enough leverage to turn the hub nut.
As to replacing the bearings, you can use a long punch and, working your way around slowly tapping you can drive the old bearing housings out, and then use a large socket and a mallet to tap the new ones into place. Then, once you have replaced the bearings you put the pub back on and get out your six foot cheater bar and tighten up the hub nut. You won't be able to check the exact torque unless on the retightening you insert a torque wrench into the handle of the cheater bar in place of the breaker bar, but if that isnot possible you can estimate based upon the amount of force you seemed to have to exert in removing it.
