Canon EOS 7D Is A Perfect Camera For Action
Canon EOS 7D is the first mannequin of a new digicam line. Beneath Canon's current naming scheme, the primary clue as to the place the 7D suits in Canon's lineup is in the mannequin number itself. The less digits in entrance of the D, the upper the digicam line. Once 1 digit is reached, the lower the number, the higher the camera line. The Canon EOS 7D is supplied with an built-in Speedlite Transmitter, making it simple to control exterior Speedlite flashguns with no further accessories required. The magnesium alloy body offers weather sealing, an Integrated Cleaning System and 150,000 release shutter durability.
The Canon 7D EOS is outwardly very similar to the full-frame Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Sharing almost precisely the identical dimensions (148.2 x 110.7 x 73.5mm) and weight (820g), the 7D is a bit of smaller however 10g heavier than its huge brother. The 7D has a magnesium alloy body which should make it more durable in the longer term than plastic-bodied cameras, and it also adds a level of weather-sealing that the 5D Mark II notably lacks. The 7D has a proven, well-thought-out design - the most serious design flaw is the rubber cover for the extension system terminal on the bottom of the camera, which will take you about five minutes to lose as it's completely unsecured.
Another fact is that select features found in lower end camera lines can top those found in the best lines. And that's clearly the case with the 7D compared to the other at present available lines including the 1-Sequence our bodies. Like other semi-pro cameras, the 7D offers two control wheels; a small one on the top of the handgrip, and a large, spinning dial on the back of the camera. This rear 'quick control dial' is characteristic of all high-finish Canon EOS cameras. It's a bit of an acquired taste compared to more conventional control dials, but you quickly get used to it and it is easy to 'spin'. This dial can be utilized to apply fast exposure adjustments, with the new Lock button preventing any additional modifications being made, useful if you want to maintain the present settings.
The short control dial takes up the house the place you'd normally anticipate finding a four-way controller, which means that for menu navigation Canon has needed to incorporate a further small joystick on the back of the camera. This joystick works nicely enough, but it's not as optimistic or as simple to make use of as a conventional four-way controller. On the 7D, Canon has extended the joystick's capabilities; it can be used in conjunction with the new Q button to use the Quick Control screen. Why is my bike creaking?
My road bike creaks only when I stand and pedal with power. It's especially loud when I work the bike from side to side. If I pedal in my biggest gear while in my seat, there's no sound. You think it's pedal, crank, frame, bottom bracket? Are there easy ways to check without taking parts off?
Despite popular sentiment it is almost NEVER the bottom bracket...
1) Check the tightness of the handlebars in the stem. Loosen, then retighten the bars evenly.
2) Check the tightness of the stem. Remove the top cap (if a threadless steerer) and loosen the stem enough to remove it. Wipe a bit of grease inside the stem (use assembly compound if carbon fiber post or frame) then reinstall the stem, tightening to recommended torque, usually 5 to 8 Nm. Note that if you have a carbon fiber frame or fork a torque wrench is essential for proper maintenance.
3) Check tightness of saddle on the seat post. Loosen, then retighten the bolt to torgue spec.
4) Remove the seatpost from the frame. Wipe some grease inside the frame (use assembly compound if carbon fiber post or frame), reinstall, and torque to correct specs.
Noise travels in bikes so it always sound like it's in the bottom bracket. Like I said before, it usually isn't.
