just hook it to the Microphone port on your computer. Generally, it's in the back next to your speaker port (it's the pink one).
Go to control panel>sounds and audio devices. click the audio tab and then the volume button at the bottom. Make sure the microphone is NOT muted and the volume is turned up. If you don't see the microphone in the volumes properties, click the options menu then properties and click the checkbox for the microphone, so that it shows up in the audio properties.
